Claire Oxley who judged our Short Story Competition sent her thanks for the gifts we gave her.
She also gave us some information of forcoming events at the library.
In conjunction with the `Friends of the Library the following will be held there.

Professor Stephen Harding talks about a new project Viking Wirral and DrakenHarald Fairhair Longship Project. Tuesday 11th October 2.15pm at Birkenhead Central Library Free event but BOOKING ESSENTIAL
An Evening with Sir Andrew Motion introducing his new book of poems `The Cinder Path`
£8 including wine at Bromborough Civic Centre at 7pm on Wednesday 12th October
