I FINALLY MADE IT

Through the cyber jungle I struggle and fall.
Each time I click I meet a brick wall.
Exhausted with frustration once again I begin.
Shall I persevere or just give in?
At last I find my writer's home,
And a space to call my own.
Look out for Juniper now and again.
Will he make you laugh or cry or just be a pain?
Though there's many a slip 'twixt lip and cup;
He hopes to continue and not give up.

Hi everyone, Just a few words to say what a lovely day we had on Sunday at Brook Meadows. The meal was very good and the company excellent. (It goes without saying) Once again the flash ficition proved a hit. The choice of words gave a lot of scope for some quite inventive tales. I'm sorry I didn't say good-bye to everyone. I got talking and it was five o'clock before we realised it and I assumed that everybody had left. I think Doreen and myself were the last to leave. The weather, well what can be said of such a stunning Summer Day. the hottest I believe for a few years. Arthur didn't make it because he had hurt his foot but hopes to be with us on Friday. I didn't pick his email up until Monday. I've uploaded this photo but it's too small and I'm not sure how to make it larger. I'll print one out for Friday and bring it with me. Grand Book Tour

From England to the Alps in a thirty-year-old caravan. What could possibly go wrong? Well now you can find out, because  Travelling in a Box , the book that gave its name to the blog, is available on Amazon, in paperback, and for Kindle. My good friends at Wirral Writers have been with me all the way, chapter by chapter. They've felt the rain and the wind, they've wiped the mud off their boots, so many thanks to them for their input and advice. But now, in the true spirit of Indy publishing, I have embarked on a grand book tour. I have a copy of my book and I’m in a field in Ruthin, then I’ll be in a field near Rhos-on-Sea. Actually, thinking about it, I forgot to bring the book, so I guess I’m just on a grand tour. Maybe not so grand, either; in a field? Let’s just call it an ordinary tour, though technically speaking, a tour should probably visit more than two places. Okay, so I’m just away, in the caravan. How cool is that, though?
